Strategic Planning and Grant Writing
For the Faith Community Workshop
This one day workshop gives non-profit
organizations and ministry leaders an overview of organizational development and grant
writing strategies. Issues discussed include developing mission and vision
statements, establishing measurable goals and objectives, creating useful record keeping
and documentation plans, principles for establishing strong healthy relationships, where
to look for funding resources, how to prepare and present requests for resources, and how
to evaluate the effectiveness of your efforts to meet the needs of the poor in your
community.
A version of this workshop has now
been developed for Masters level students and taught at Midwestern Baptist Theological
Seminary as a course for credit.
