Host a workshop in your area.

The cost of each workshop is $45 per person this includes registration and participant notebook.  The host is expected to provide lunch.  Hosts may increase the conference fee to cover the cost of lunch.

For every five paid participants STRONG Foundations will waive the workshop fee for one attendee of the host's choosing. The host is responsible for lunch costs.

STRONG Foundations expects the local host to make every effort to encourage non-profits in their community to attend the workshop and expects that local hosts will have no difficulty finding at least 20 people to attend their workshop.  In light of this and in order to be good stewards of the resources God has given us STRONG Foundations asks hosts to keep the following in mind:

  • Workshop hosts with 10 or less paid attendees will be asked to reimburse STRONG Foundations for transportation and hotel costs associated with the workshop.
  • Hosts with 11 to 15 paid attendees will be asked to reimburse STRONG Foundations for transportation  costs associated with the workshop.
  • Hosts with 16 to 20 paid attendees will be asked to reimburse STRONG Foundations for hotel  costs associated with the workshop.
  • With a paid attendance of 21 or more STRONG Foundations will cover all of the costs for our staff to come to the workshop.

Our desire is to provide training for every organization that sees a need for the training.  STRONG Foundations staff would consider a flat fee under special circumstances.

Host Responsibilities:

  1. Advertise the event and actively recruit participants.  We will provide you with a brochure that is specific to your event. You may reproduce the brochure in any quantity you might need.  We will also provide a camera ready newspaper ad for your use.
  2. Collect Registration forms and fees.
  3. Provide STRONG Foundations with a copy of all registration forms, including scholarships.
  4. Write a check to STRONG Foundations for $45 per participant. (No payment is required for agreed upon scholarships.)
  5. Provide a comfortable environment conducive to learning during the workshop.  The workshop room should have tables to make it easy for participants to take notes.
  6. Provide a Power Point projector and screen.  If you do not have access to a projector, please let us know so that we can make arrangements to bring one with us.
  7. Provide two 8 foot or three 6 foot tables for displays.
  8. Provide lunch on site.
