These Websites have a vast array of resources to strengthen nonprofit organizations

1. Philanthropy & Nonprofit Leadership Center www.pnlc.rollins.edu/resources.shtml
    * Many educational Institutions have Leadership Centers providing information and resources to the community. Some even have specific centers geared towards helping nonprofit organizations.

2. Capaciteria www.capaciteria.org
    * Resources for nonprofit management including links to search for foundations.

3. The Foundation Center www.fdncenter.org
    * The Foundation Center website has many resources to assist grant seekers from proposal writing tools to a searchable database of over 200,000 Foundations. Many of the tools are free and there is a sliding fee scale based upon the number of foundations you can search and the search tools you can use. The Foundation has five libraries across the country (New York, Atlanta, and San Francisco) where they provide workshops for grant seekers, and numerous local libraries where the database can be searched on site for free.

4. Foundation Center RFPs fdncenter.org/pnd/rfp/
    * A list of new RFP's and categories of funding that list new, current and recently ended RFP's from funders. It is recommended that you check this website often to discover RFPs when first posted.

5. Nonprofit Good Practice Guide www.npgoodpractice.org
    * Resources based on agreed upon standards for non-profit management practices.

6. Regional Associations of Grantmakers www.givingforum.org/ralocator.html
    * Find the Association of Grantmakers that serves your region of the country. Some of these have information that is very useful including a list of grantmakers that are members of the Association.

7. Council on Foundations www.cof.org/Locator/
    * Locate Community Foundations by state and find many other grant writing resources.

8. Fundsnet Services Categories of Funders www.fundsnetservices.com
    * An extensive list of categories of funders will help you identify funders who are interested in the types of programs you provide. You will also find helps for successful grant proposal writing here.

9. The Grantmanship Center www.tgci.com/funding/states.asp
    * Find Community Foundations, Corporate Funders and the 40 to 50 largest grantmaking organizations in your state. Many grant writing resources can be found on this website.

10. National Council of Nonprofit Associations www.ncna.org
    * These organizations usually have a membership fee that varies greatly. Many provide training to strengthen nonprofits and the price is reduced for members. Some websites have a lot of useful information while others are barely existent. This website will help you locate the nonprofit association in your area.

11. Faith-based & Community Initiatives Liaison www.whitehouse.gov/government/fbci
    * Their job is to help you navigate the federal and state funding waters.

12. National Christian Foundation www.nationalchristian.org
  
* Providing resources to assist congregation and ministries develop planned giving structures and working to establish christian foundations in local communities across the country..

13. State Baptist Foundation www.sbfdn.org/states.asp
    * They can help you set up and administer a designated fund for your Baptist church. Some have a limited amount of discretionary funds for ministry within the state.
